Harold Hillier Gardens

Despite the weather (we were very lucky and had only a light drizzle), we had a fabulous time at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens.  Pond dipping, bug sweeping, building animal habitats and playing a game about the good and bad events in nature kept us busy.  We loved walking the Himalayan way, through the bamboo, between the giant gunnera plants, by the pond and of-course, across the wobbly bridge.  Seeing the sculptures, spotting the birds and listening to the silence was wonderful.
